In this episode, we feature MESHUGGAH! A retrospective from the band's debut from 1991 to the latest Koloss ablum in 2012. "Crazy" in Yidish, the name itself describes the band's musical approach. Complex polyrythms and odd time signatures; throw in some elements of neo classical jazz; and you got a Swedish version of experimental metal that simply is called

"Djent'!  Why? When guitarists Marten Hagstrom was asked what genre of metal the band belonged to; he answered with, "...it's djent because that's the sound of the guitars djent-djent-djent." We showcase tracks from the all the MESHUGGAH albums, and provide some insight on all their productions.

One fourth of the BIG FOUR makes their debut on the show; ANTHRAX! Also, metal warriors  DISTURBED, are include with a track from their album Asylum. Prosthetic Records have reissued the albums from HEAVEN'S CRY; a track from the band's album Food for Thought Substitute also included.

Inspired by MESSHUGGAH! Independent bands eWaH VCXXVI  from Guatemala city, and DAVOLA (US) featured with a song each. Displaying their experimental polymetric signature musical styles.

Stronger than Hate! DIGMETALWORD RECORDS from NY present Volume 4; a sick compilation of extreme metal bands fron Southamerica and the world; highlighted with the Chilean bands HUINCA, WARCHEST and thrash addicts CONFLICTED.

Djent! MESHUGGAH already defined it! But we have a couple of their disciples (or not) PERIPHERY and PSYOPUS to further please your 'djentish' needs!

With a career spanning more than four decades and with more than 26 studio releases ALICE COOPER is without a doubt a rock-metal icon. We honor the dark man with some of his most renowned songs of his illustruous career. In this episode, we honor Dimebag Darrell (1966-2004) with songs from PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN. New releases from the bands and artists you head-bang your head to! PAGAN RECORDS and NOISEART RECORDS make their brutal debut on the podcast. DIME forever shreds and all the novel releases you could ever want to keep you going all week long!

Dimebag gone but never forgotten! We honor the brother with three songs from his break-through Cowboys from Hell to Far Beyond Driven (songs that made the chief director's ex-girld friend say, "...turn that sh*t down!"). We dedicate the new METAL CLASSIC segment to Dimebag; furthermore, honor the man with the tribute track 'DIME' by Canadian heavy (deconstructed) rockers MUSICBLOOD.

New music from metal legends MACHINE HEAD (Onto the Locust) and TESTAMENT (Dark Roots of Earth). Both excellently heavy albums you should pick-up! One of the best Finnish bands ever(no, not Childrem of Bodom), we are talking about AMORPHIS! Progressiveness; made the migration from melodic death metal to this progressive beast of a band they are now. Music from the ever so profoundly inspiring ELEGY to the more modern SILENT WATERS. *Honestly, we dig the old singer better-Pasi Koskinen, but the new guy isn't that bad.
