UNDECIMBER is a band you have got to get into this year! For the band's sophomore release DEAD INSIDE (Downfall records), the album is inclined more to a goth genre lyrically (blood, lust, pain, more blood); but musically this album sounds very metal driven. Noticeably, vocalist and guitars Snakes singing stands out in the tracks with a goth-sleaze tone in which you can feel the lustful pain of a wandering ghost. Additional to the heavy guitar (Lash) and bass (Missy) riffs, the keyboards in the songs make for a delicate melody that provides the mysterious atmosphere. Released this Feb 14, you can only guess where the dark romanticism comes from, but this is truly goth metal with balls from Sweden! Tracks to look out for in this record are FATAL KISS, BEYOND THE GRAVE and TEARS OF THE PAST-they all could make great singles.
