We are proud to announce our collaboration with PROSTHETIC RECORDS in the promotion of their artists and bands in our podcast shows. PROSTHETIC RECORDS is an American record label that has been in existence since 1998. Most noticeable for bringing to light LAMB OF GOD's first two albums. Also, the home of renowned and respected metal acts ALL THAT REMAINS, SKELETON WITCH and is the North American home to GOJIRA. The label is notoriously known in the underground metal scene for putting out an array of genre defining acts and an eclectically selective group of artists that set themselves apart from 'metal trends'.

Amongst other noticeable artists and bands the label is releasing/distributing include shred lord MARTY FRIEDMAN (ex-MEGADETH), djent instrumental wizards ANIMALS AS LEADERS; and the exhilarating hybrid instrumental prog-metal, jazz, fusion of FELIX MARTIN. That incidentally, he plays on his14-string guitar!

Extreme Brutalness! (*brutalness, is that a real word?) Our listeners have always enjoyed the the most extreme and heavy metal bands out there; and PROSTHETIC RECORDS will definitely satisfy our listeners need for ear shattering metal! Brutal Death, Blackened Death, Melodic Death, Deathcore, and all the other deaths you can prefix or suffix to a genre are what the label endorses to sex hungry teenagers and angry parents to rant about! Bands such as DEW-SCENTED, BENEATH THE MASSACRE, OV HELL, SEPTICFLESH, MUTILATION RITES and other infernal damnations will pollute and corrode your soul, and make you want to listen to some gallent metal! For instance, the metal lords SKELETON WITCH or the heavy metal champions HOLY GRAIL.

More bands are added to the roster every year, and the label keeps hurling out insanely good bands and artists for the underground metal community to enjoy. So prepare yourselves! Metal On Metal Records - New Releases 2012 Show featuring Jowita Kaminska

OLD SCHOOL METAL... OR NO METAL AT ALL!

We are proud to announce that the show will be featuring the new album releases from traditional heavy/power/doom metal label METAL ON METAL RECORDS. Jowita Kaminska, label owner, will collaborate with Evolution Rock in a special show featuring the label's latest releases and merchandise available from the label. 

METAL ON METAL RECORDS is currently celebrating its 5th anniversary as a label since its first release in 2008. Jowita Kaminska states on the label's website. "Yeah, it’s the 5th anniversary of our label right now – our first CD was released in April 2008! Since then we’ve put out 30 CD releases (including 4 compilations and a reissue of one 2008 release that we had sold out), 3 LP releases (one of them exclusively on vinyl), 2 digital albums, 1 cassette and 1 book (“Keep It True Festival History Book”, that was actually the first title we published in April 2008, for the 10th edition of this great German festival). Regarding the new releases in-stored and the new bands joining the label, Jowita Kaminska states on the label's website, "..in a few days, on April 27th (at the 15th edition of our favorite KIT fest) the 5th volume of our compilation “Compendium Of Metal” will be out together with 3 new regular CD releases and 2 cassette only releases. We will announce the new titles this weekend and after coming back from Germany, in the first days of May, we’ll announce the new bands that have joined our roster, so stay tuned!"

Label owner, Jowita Kaminska, is dead serious when it comes to heavy metal. Not only does she run the sites, distribution, and works with the press for every release. Jowita is a professional artist graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She designs and hand paints the cover art for almost every release on the label. As for her art work she sates, "...in the paintings there is the essence of the music."
