Raw In Sect were formed in 2006 and after several line-up changes the band's members now, are Kostas Diamandis (Vocals, Guitars), Jim Alexiou (Drums), Stathis Efstathiou (Guitars) and Haris Kyrkos (Bass).
In 2007 they released a three song self-titled demo called "Demo 2007", which received excellent reviews in magazines and webzines.They did a greek tour and played with bands such as Rotting Chr
ist, Sickening Horror etc.
In 2011, the band signed a contract with Aural Music, Wormhole Death which released their debut album "Red Flows" worldwide (digital and CD). It is consisted of 11 songs and combines the speed of thrash, the power of groove and the atmosphere of progressive metal.
The band is currently promoting Red Flows throughout Europe covering a lot of places having shared the stage already with bands such as Overkill, GBH, Rotting Christ, Immolation, Krisiun, Suidakra while they're composing material for their second album.
Raw In Sect have been announced "Demo of the Month" twice at Metal Hammer and have received great reviews from many well known webzines and magazines worldwide.
